South Korean company Samsung’s global ‘Galaxy Unpacked Event 2024’ will begin today (July 10) at 06:30 PM IST. In this live event, the company will launch ‘Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6’ and ‘Galaxy Z Flip 6’.
Apart from this, Samsung is also going to tease the upcoming VR headset at the event, which it is developing with Google. Along with this, the company may also launch Galaxy Ring and many AI features.
The event is an in-person event in Paris France, but will be live-streamed on YouTube. They can be live-streamed on the company’s official website, social media account X and YouTube.
The folding device will come with AI features
Samsung will introduce its next foldable smartphone with Galaxy AI, so that users will be able to use the AI features found in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. This new generation of foldable phones will be more powerful and more sophisticated than before.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: Estimated Price ₹1,50,000
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone may launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Zen3 octa-core processor. Along with this you can get 12GB RAM and 1TB storage option. According to media reports, the phone is built on a titanium frame and its fold mechanism will be better than before.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 can feature a 7.6-inch 2x Dynamic AMOLED main screen and a 6.3-inch cover screen. Both the screens may have a refresh rate of 120Hz and the display cover may offer Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. For photography, it may offer a 50MP OIS + 12MP + 10MP triple camera setup on the rear panel and a 10MP + 4MP selfie sensor on the front panel. It can get a 4,400mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Smartphone: Estimated Price ₹90,000
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G smartphone may have a 6.7-inch main screen and a 3.9-inch cover display. It will also have a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and both screens may have a refresh rate of 120Hz and the cover display may offer Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The phone will also be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for processing. With this you can get 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. For photography, a 50MP + 12MP rear camera and a 32MP selfie camera can be provided. A 4000mAh battery may be available for power backup.
Samsung may also introduce new wearable technology According to media reports, Samsung may introduce wearable technology at the Galaxy Unpacked event, most likely the Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy Ring will allow users to track and monitor their fitness and several health metrics including heart rate, blood pressure.
The Galaxy Buds 3 series and Galaxy Ring with improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) are also expected to be announced at the event. Along with this, Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra will also be launched at tomorrow’s event. It is believed that this will be Samsung’s first smartwatch with the Galaxy AI feature.
