Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event today: Flagship fold and flip smartphone to launch, company may also launch several AI features

South Korean company Samsung’s global ‘Galaxy Unpacked Event 2024’ will begin today (July 10) at 06:30 PM IST.  In this live event, the company will launch ‘Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6’ and ‘Galaxy Z Flip 6’.

Apart from this, Samsung is also going to tease the upcoming VR headset at the event, which it is developing with Google.  Along with this, the company may also launch Galaxy Ring and many AI features.

The event is an in-person event in Paris France, but will be live-streamed on YouTube.  They can be live-streamed on the company’s official website, social media account X and YouTube.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 can feature a 7.6-inch 2x Dynamic AMOLED main screen and a 6.3-inch cover screen.  Both the screens may have a refresh rate of 120Hz and the display cover may offer Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.  For photography, it may offer a 50MP OIS + 12MP + 10MP triple camera setup on the rear panel and a 10MP + 4MP selfie sensor on the front panel.  It can get a 4,400mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Smartphone: Estimated Price ₹90,000

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G smartphone may have a 6.7-inch main screen and a 3.9-inch cover display.  It will also have a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and both screens may have a refresh rate of 120Hz and the cover display may offer Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

The phone will also be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for processing.  With this you can get 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.  For photography, a 50MP + 12MP rear camera and a 32MP selfie camera can be provided.  A 4000mAh battery may be available for power backup.
