Vicky Kaushal calls ‘Chhaava’ a career highlight: Regarding the release date, the actor said, ‘There is still a lot of work to do, the makers will announce soon’

Actor Vicky Kaushal is currently busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Bad News’. During the promotion of this film, the actor has openly talked about the most awaited film of his career ‘Chhawa’ during the interview. During this conversation, the actor called the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film a big responsibility. Along with this, it was also said that it was a lot of fun to work hard in the film. The makers will soon announce the release date of the film.

Vicky Kaushal is acting in a period drama film for the first time. On the other hand, the fans of the actor are already very excited about this film. Vicky also considers this film as a very special film for his career. The actor further said, ‘This film has affected me physically and emotionally the most. This work has been very challenging for me too.’

During an interview given to Film Companion, when Vicky Kaushal was asked how long the audience will be able to watch this film? The actor said, ‘The shooting of the film has been completed. But the post production work is still going on. AR Rahman sir is busy composing background score and music. A lot of VFX has also been used in the film. The producer of the film will be able to announce the release date only after this is over.’

The pair of Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika will be seen on screen for the first time in the film ‘Chhawa’. Actress Yesubai Bhosale will be seen in this film. On the other hand, Akshay Khanna is playing the role of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb in this film. Laxman Utekar is directing the film. Even before this film, Vicky worked with director Laxman Utekar in the film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Bad News’ will hit the theaters on July 19. The film is directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Tripti Dimri, Amy Work, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. Apart from ‘Chhawa’, Vicky Kaushal is also working in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, in which he will be seen sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
