Smartphone maker Motorola today (July 10) launched a new smartphone ‘Moto g85 5G’ in the budget segment. Motorola has provided a 6.7-inch 3D Poled (Polymer Organic LED) curved display, a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor in this smartphone.
The company has launched this smartphone in three colors and two storage options. Its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 17,999. Similarly, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,999.
The smartphone will go on sale from July 16 on the company’s official website and e-commerce platform Flipkart. The company will also give a discount of 1000 rupees in the special launch offer.

Display: The Moto g85 5G smartphone features a 6.7-inch 3D polarized curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness is 1600 nits and the resolution is 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display also gets Gorilla Glass protection.
Camera: The Moto G85 has a dual camera setup for photography. It has a 50MP Sony Lithia 600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera. At the same time, the smartphone has a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
RAM and Storage: In the Moto G85 smartphone, the company has given two RAM and two storage options. It will have 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option. Storage is not expandable in this phone.
OS and Processor: For performance the smartphone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor with 2.30GHz octa-core CPU. It works on Android 14 operating system. The company has said that this smartphone will provide OS upgrades for 1 year and security updates for 3 years.
Battery and Charging: Moto g85 5G smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery with 33W turbo charging for power backup. The company claims that the smartphone will provide 34 hours of backup once fully charged.
Connectivity options: For connectivity the phone has 14 5G bands, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS and USB Type C port for charging.
